Dictionary is a series of letterpress prints inserted into the book, Dictionary of Symbols and Imagery compiled and authored by Ad de Vries, belonging to the Pacific Northwest College of Art's library collection.

The letterpress printed words strive to emulate the exact typeface, spacing and placement of a distilled selection of the dictionary's words and definitions.

The paper also attempts to emulate the original quality of the book's paper, striving—once again—to blend with the original book, to become essentially invisible.
